GEM, a visualization plugin for PD. These GEM screenshots, specifically the concentric circles and lattice pictures are among the most strikingly musical images I have ever seen.
CsoundAV Screenshots here. Offhand, this looks more like a good source for interesting still images and nonabstract animations than a visual equivalent to music.
